Product Description

This is a Blizzard Champion Fund Raiser disc designed to help support the 30th Annual Kansas City Wide Open.

The Dominator is a speed 13 plus distance driver designed to give the best of control and long line shaping for higher power players. Similar to the Katana, with more high speed stability, the Dominator has the glide to maximize distance with a predicable turn. Lower power players will be able to use the Dominator in weights down to the mid 130s in Blizzard Champion plastic. Dominator tests show [13|5|-1|2] as the potential flight numbers.

Innova says: Premium plastic. Lower weights. Longer distance. Less effort. Our new Blizzard technology incorporates thousands of microbubbles into our durable Champion plastic. This results in high speed, premium plastic drivers in weights all the way down to 130 grams! Testing indicates that models under 140 grams are light enough to float in water!

Best Choice for:

  • Power Players.
  • Sidearm Throws.
  • Fast, long distance off the tee.

Speed: 13

Glide: 5

Turn: -1

Fade: 2

Speed - Speed is the ability of the disc to cut through the air. Speed Ratings are listed from 1 to 13. Discs with high numbers are faster.

Glide - describes the discs ability to maintain loft during flight. Discs with more glide are best for new players, and for producing maximum distance. Glide is rated from 1 to 7.

Turn - is the tendency of a disc to turn over or bank to the right (for RHBH throws) during the initial part of the flight. A disc with a +1 rating is most resistant to turning over, while a -5 rating will turn the most.

Fade - is the discs tendency to hook left (for RHBH throws) at the end of the flight. Fade is rated from 0 to 5. A disc rated 0 will finish straightest, while a disc rated 5 will hook hard at the end of the flight.

  1. long distance but turn should be -4 not -1 4 Star Review

While I believe this disc has the potential to fly a solid distance, especially for weaker arms, the turn rating of -1 is quite deceiving. I have tried time and again to control the extreme turn but even with a tailwind and the max weight 160g I cannot keep it from turning completely over. I would say a more accurate rating would be ((speed: 13 glide: 5 turn:-4 fade: 2)). The reason that I still gave it a 4 out of 5 is that for less experienced players looking to add a significant amount of distance to their drives this is a perfect disc.
